One of the oldest jazz venues in Chicago. Dark and cozy.

I was recently in Chicago, and heard that this was the place to go to for Jazz. Well, I can not say that I was disappointed, but I expected more. The music was nothing above average, but the overall experience was good. I would come back again, but only if I know who is playing.

Green Mill has its good and bad days, so check their schedule ahead of time. Also, if you don't want to be standing the whole time, i suggest to get there early. ***Patricia Barber (who is absolutely amazing) will be playing there April though May 2010, so definitely check her out if you can.
