This place has the best ramen in LA and probably the best ramen on this side of the Pacific. It is not very fancy and resides in the Mitsuwa Japanese super market. But, good ramen is not fancy. And, you cannot go wrong at Santouka. I favor the miso flavored bowls as I find the salt flavored a bit too heavy and the soy not as rich. You can get a combo tray and I would not suggest you miss that. The chopped salt pork on rice is my go to here. I would just eat that stuff for every meal if I could. Plus, you get a soy infused hard boiled egg. If you have never had a ramen that did not come in a plastic bag with a flavor pack, you need to go here now.

This is my absolute favorite ramen place!!! And shopping at Mitsuwa afterwords is a cherry on top.
