Barone's Famous Italian Restaurant

The Italian food here is decent. The pizza is good, if not a bit unusual, and they serve the only chianti I have actually enjoyed. The place is family oriented and attracts a rather "mature" crowd. This is what makes this place really special. Well, that and the lounge singers they bring in on the weekends to entertain the crowd. You know that scene from "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" where the guy forgets his wallet? Well, this is the place. Plush booths, stained glass windows, and a guy crooning to some blue hairs; a night in the valley really doesn't get much more fun!

Blue hairs is right! Blue hairs at the bar and really enjoying the scene. Such a fantastic joint. Make sure to go for entertainment nights and sit in the bar room. That is where the action happens. If you decide to just get drinks, I recommend sticking to the hard classics - gin martini. This place is some "Valley Gold".
