One of my favorite Opera houses in the US. From the outside the building is not that impressive, but I do like how it looks and feels inside. Beautiful theater, amazing acoustics, and the performances never disappoint.

by the way it's construction is often called the worst crime ever committed to New York city by the robbing barons. Penn Station is the other one.

The opera house is amazing. I even love the "cheap" seats. My friend and I saw the new production of Tosca. It was amazing. All that blatant sex and emotion were beautifully acted. Singing voices were also gorgeous. Of, course the music is great and as we know, no one gets out alive. Worth going for the $150.00 tickets.
