Like many contemporary art museums (and granted, Guggenheim is one of the best known) it is grossly overrated. 90% of collections are filled with pretentious pieces of crap posing as art. There are occasional gems, but those are rare. I am not at all against modern forms of art, but it has to be art. 20 full-size photographs of ugly naked bodies lined up on the wall in a "series" does not cut it. I can do that myself in the back yard.
