It's a nice comedy, no, drama, no, it's more of a comedy. Anyway, the movie is about a Spanish couple that can not live apart and can not live together either. Penelope Cruz performs hilariously in the movie.

Scarlet is a mediocre actress.... why on earth do you continue to cast her of all people, Woody? Bardem and Cruz are on fire, though!

My boyfriend and I love this movie! The passion between Penelope Cruz's character and Javier Bardem's character reminds us of our own (except that we stay together and I don't try to kill anyone). Usually Scarlett Johansson annoys me but I actually loved her in this film!

Cruz and Bardem put in a great performance -- that's what makes this movie worth watching. Scarlet Johansson and Rebecca Hall are not terribly interesting by comparison.

As most already noted, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz were superb! I also don't get Woody Allen's fascination with Scarlett and not quite sure what Rebecca Hall was doing in the film at all.

Couldn't agree more. No wonder Bardem and Cruz hooked up after filming it--they had such a great chemistry on screen.

I just really appreciate that Woody Allen started making more exuberant, colorful and intriguing movies. The chemistry between Bardem and Penelope Cruz is undeniable--no wonder they became an item after filming this. This movie is just such an enjoyable eye-candy. Just what the doctor ordered.

I totally agree w/Natalia. It's great to see Allen's talents in full bloom again. I LOVE this film...especially Penelope Cruz. She is amazing and I wish I could live in Barcelona just like them.

I would watch a porn anytime over this. Threesome fetish? I think this movie is not art, but porn.
