"After watching the footage of the Kent State shootings, Bobby Jay, then seventeen, signed up for the National Guard so that he, too, could shoot college students. "...Had many laughs while watching this one. While i'm not sure that the film fully soaked up everything that the novel had to offer, it was still a 'hit' in my book. But I'm a big sucker for satirical flicks.

Witty, funny, smart. Love this movie. --"My mom said that smoking as bad for you", - -"Now, is your mom a doctor? No? And what if your mom told you to stop eating chocolate--would you listen to her?" This movie is like "the art of argument 101".
