Description: Writer-director Woody Allen stars as nebbish Max Kleinman, whose neighbors wake him asking for help in nabbing a serial strangler. Kleinman agrees, but the vigilantes disappear. As he looks for them, he crosses paths with a host of oddballs, including a sword swallower (Mia Farrow) and her circus clown lover (John Malkovich). When Kleinman gets caught with evidence placing him at the scene of one of the killings, the lynch mob zeroes in on him.
