I have no shame to admit that I watched it twice. Not because I loved it so much the first time, but because I didn't get it:) It is weirdly complex, as most Lynch's creations are, so puzzling and bizarre. And the more bizarre it gets, the more it draws you in. Also, a superb soundtrack which I'll review separately.

And I'm not ashamed to admit that I've probably watched it 3 or 4 times, and every time i discover something new. If you like clear, linear plots you might want to stay away from this one and "The Lost Highway."

Certainly entertaining with Lynch's usual dwarfs, old people, red velvet curtains, lock boxes and bizarre mysteries. Naomi Watts performance is superb. Yet it feels like David Lynch is running out of ideas and constantly self-plagiarizing. References to Lost Highway and Twin Peaks are all too obvious.

some scenes are so captivating that you cannot help trying to piece them together. one of them is a half dream half real moving pictures of a night show in some obscure theater...everyone is doomed but you don't know how and why...
