A bit overhyped and my least favorite of the Death Trilogy films. It wasn't as intense as the other two. Reached high, but didn't quite get there.

Wonderfully crafted and acted but ultimately shallow and pointless film - very much in line with Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's another well-known grimfest, 21 Grams (Babel, however, is immensely more watchable in no small part due to absence of Sean Penn)

Any particular reason you dislike Sean Penn for? :)

For his bery own brand of tortured liberal self-righteousness. Besides, I do not like his type, and do not much appreciate him as an actor. That's a long answer, isn't it? And by the way - who is able to see these comments, anyway?

I see. His performance was great in Milk. As for comments, now, anyone could see them. We'll think of creating more robust private settings once we get more traffic.
