When I first saw it, I liked it very much and I still like it, because it is so true in depicting mathematicians' behaviour (especially with women) or how their mind is working - the acting is perfect. However, what I don't understand is why they made up a bit different story about this person, John Nash. They took out the fact that the wife actually left him, or some other differences from the real story... Or the Nobel prize acceptance speech, I'm afraid that it actually spoiled the movie for me. I don't mind the differences from original story, in this or other movies, when they are reasonable, but here it doesn't work sometimes. If not some of these scenes it could be 5/5 for me.

Definitely one of my favorite movies! This film, produced by Brian Grazer, captures the true essence of a struggle of a man blessed with an incredible intellect and gift for understanding. Russell Crowe was at his finest and depicted John Nash in an amazing way, full of emotions and swinging the viewer into emotions that will transform and captivate you in his character. Love this movie, big time!!!!

I still remember how this movie effected my life! The performance by Russel Crow and Jenniffer Conoly was great. I did not expect it to have the twist of the mental desiese. I relly think that this film took an impact in lots of peoples live and that it deserves more awards than it was given during it's peak a few years ago
