Sushi of Gari

alexandra lawson: Creatively prepared sushi. Very good, but not for the sushi purist (not everyone likes sun dried tomatoe on their sushi.) I little on the expensive side for what you get. Mediocre decore and no ambiance.

Nobu 57

mark ryles: i agree with that smart guy janat's review. it is expensive but i think the food cant be beat. the kobe beef (thinly sliced in a ponzu sauce) is unbelievable. rock shrimp is great, teh sushi with the thin jalapeno slices is great and the tuna tartar is phenomenal. the food is unique and creative and it is one of my favorite restaurants but it aint cheap! you can break the bank on the sake if you arent careful although it goes damn well with the food.

Sushi Yasuda

anastasia koroleva: best in the world but have to sit at the bar by Yasuda-san. terrific soft-shell crab when in season.

Soto

Vlad Klenikov: Stay away! The wierdest experience in my dining life was with this resto. I think the chef is mentally ill. When we went there he almost committed a sippoku (figuratively speaking) - threw a number of massive tantrums on his kitchen and wait staff in front the entire dining room. Food is ok, but nothing special. Michelin 1 star rating on this restuarant is an absolute scam - which i think is the case with Michelin's entire US edition of ratings.
