alexandra lawson: Great place to sip a drink and watch the boaters on the giant pond. Good location in the heart of Central Park.
Vlad Klenikov: generally well-paved, marked bike path around the island of Manhattan. we just did it for the the first time. 20km. official name given by the city is Greenpath. Takes you literally around the entire island. The coolest parts are George Washington Bridge underpass, the tour through Harlem. Ride along the east river is so-so (too much construction), downtown is a tourist-filled zoo.
