Sushi Mac

Nathaniel Osollo: Oh yeah, I'm a Sushi Mac. And I'm a PC Mac...no, wait. Let me start over. Whatever. SUSHI! Yes, it's so good it requires shouting through text (cause that's what caps lock means, moron). Three bucks for each plate of sushi? Priced on how many plates you eat? Win, win. Although, if you eat a lot the price sneaks up on you. Still totally worth it.

Katsuya

Alla Lipov: Really does have a great vibe! Interior is really cool and the food does not disappoint. Try the baked crab rolls....always delicious! The Hollywood location is nice too....but a pain to get too.

Geisha House

Alla Lipov: If you want a place that is very "hollywood"...this is it. Not the best in terms of sushi. The place is ultra trendy and has a really loungy feel. Great to grab drinks and some appetizers. Located right on hollywood blvd it is a great venue to bring the star struck first time visitor to L.A.

Bar Hayama

Natalia Klimovich: This place definitely gets 5 stars for the ambiance. Ask to be seated by the fire pit (on the picture). It's cozy and romantic. The food is good, but not cheap. Besides sushi and rolls, they have lots of small plate Japanese tapas. Their spicy lobster roll with crisp shaved onions is my favorite. Oh, did I mention they have a 50 page sake list? :)
