Natalia Klimovich: I don't know what took me so long to explore this gem of LA. The biggest park in US does not disappoint. On the first visit you feel overwhelmed, because the are so many different interest points to see and explore: the beautiful Griffith Observatory overlooking with mind blowing views of LA, the cozy and sophisticated Greek theater, the old zoo, the antique merry-go-round. And if you choose, like me, to get to all of those on foot--God be with you, because the park is huge. With plenty of different hikes and landscapes it's easy to pick the ones what suites your style: there are shaded and cool woodsy parts, as well as more demanding up-and-down hikes. Love.
