Los Angeles Zoo

Nathaniel Osollo: Man, I haven't been to the Los Angeles Zoo in YEARS. I think two to be exact...No, no. More like three. I remember taking my video camera and taking all kinds of arbitrary footage of people at the zoo instead of the animals. Then I jumped into the Giant Tortoise exhibit because those suckers don't mind a photo opp and giving a thumbs up for the camera. Tortoises rule.

Magic Castle

Sarah M.: If you can score tickets - which you cannot buy - only be gifted by a member or someone 'in the know,' then try this place - ONCE. It's worth it, if only to say you got to go to the magic castle. Dinner is marginal, and a guy comes and takes your picture and strongly guilts you into buying it. But youre not here for dinner - youre here for MAGIC!! Which is pretty cool. They have a bunch of different rooms with various acts going on. They have roaming card trick magicians that will perform tricks on the fly. The ambiance is trippy - you feel like your in a haunted house. It's definitely cheesy - but if you go in knowing that, you're in for a fun evening.

Los Angeles County Museum of Art - LACMA

Nathaniel Osollo: This place is quite the business. A good spot for a date or if you just want some mind-blowing art work to satiate your mind and eyes' need for thought provoking work. Chris Burden piece adjacent, not to mention the tar pits of the far off land of La Brea, it's an educational spot and houses one of the US's more prominent collections of contemporary art. Hey, check it out: minimal sarcasm in this review.
