Artem Doubov: An ultimate Mexican "dive" in Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village - actually, three sister locations on the same block (sic!) of North Ashland. The place has all the works - loud norteno music from the jukebox, formica tables, gaudy paintings, the authentic working-class Latino crowd and the most delicious tacos I tasted in Chicago. The market-style food is surprisingly non-spicy (which can be easily remedied on the spot with copious application of hot salsa and chilli sauces), so can be recommended even to those who is scared or "real Mexican" food.
