Green Mill

Alla Kushner: Green Mill has its good and bad days, so check their schedule ahead of time. Also, if you don't want to be standing the whole time, i suggest to get there early. ***Patricia Barber (who is absolutely amazing) will be playing there April though May 2010, so definitely check her out if you can.

Pops For Champagne

Sergey Pak: every time I end up drinking there I can hardly remember going in and always fail to remember coming out. Pops for champagne and Champagne for knocking me out. The place is nothing special but that's hardly a problem as you go over the hump drinking this bubbly shit.

The Underground

Galin Muradyan: Love that place! It's pretty old...now about 4-5 years. It's always a lot of fun...the place is done up in the army style and even hostesses are dressed in camouflage clothing! Great music, always! They play house, hip hop, sometimes techno/dance - but they switch it up often... This club is still my first choice even though it's considered a "veteran" in the chicago nightlife. Highly recommend for a fun-filled night!

Rebar

Alex Pavlovitch: Donald Trump pissed me off again. Rebar is a new lounge in the Trump Tower. Location and views are unbeatable, but there is nothing else good to say about the place. Horribly overpriced, poor quality sushi bar and shitty wine list with 5x mark-up. Stay away from this.
