Sergey Pak: the beach is a postcard of Chicago downtown. looks good on a picture and is good for nothing else. it is overcrowded and plain dangerous to be around on a nice day. Picture this: big crowds of bikers, rollerbladers, joggers, lovers, teenagers with awakening puberty and dumb parents with flocks of unattended kids. One big Mess.

Sergey Pak: this park is really great. It is a piece of land on the water! Great view on Chicago downtown from the lake. And the best part - the tourists usually pass it by on their way to the touristy Navy Pier.

Sergey Pak: super fancy health club. numerous classes for aerobics, yoga, pilates, dancing and even ballet. Tennis courts are in impeccable condition. Crowds of young cool dudes with fat bank accounts and gals freshly sculptured by plastic surgeons. A very good restaurant plus bar and diner upstairs. if you work in the loop and don't go to the club after work you must be boarding train to the suburbs. I am a member there as long as I don't have to pay for court time.

Sergey Pak: the place is a dump. i think the facilities used to be a meat packing warehouse and it is turning back to it. always dark, smells bad. tennis courts are usable at best.
