Sean Turner: If you know what you are getting into this place is great. They have a great salad bar but realize that this is an over the top meat lovers delight. So unless you love the idea of devouring plate after plate of beef, pork, chicken, lamb and sausage.... They have a Brazilian drink (caipirinha) that is absolutely addictive. I wish they would open the bar to the public so that I could drop by for the drink without having to eat there every time. Overall great service and consistently tasty meat. Don't plan on going out afterwards though.
Darina Denkova: I've eaten some of my best and some of my not-so-best sushi there... But overall, would recommend. Get there early - they don't take reservations.
Alla Kushner: They have a nice outdoor seating at D4, once it gets warm. Beer is pretty decent but the food is just mediocre.
Sergey Pak: the place is still holding its ground. its top entree tuna and asparagus is really good. Uni (sea urchin) hand roll is always fresh and tasty. but the rest is not above average.
Artem Doubov: Another Fogo de Chao wannabe. Good meats, mediocre salad bar, questionable ambiance - too many people wearing sweatpants for a restaurant that is trying for class. In short - spend a few dollars more and go for the real thing at Fogo de Chao.

Alla Kushner: Green Mill has its good and bad days, so check their schedule ahead of time. Also, if you don't want to be standing the whole time, i suggest to get there early. ***Patricia Barber (who is absolutely amazing) will be playing there April though May 2010, so definitely check her out if you can.
Galin Muradyan: New and a very swanky night club in Chicago. It's difficult to get in especially if you are a guy (yes, even if you buy 10 bottles!) But it's spacious, the ambience is very chic and minimalistic. The drinks are ok, just like in every other club. It's a great place to take out-of-towners to brag about chi! :) Other than that, I'd say eh, take me to Underground! :)
Alla Kushner: Marge's Still has surprisingly good draught beer (rouge dead guy and Irish red - try it) and pretty decent food. Their hand cut chips - highly recommended, but stay away from the crab cakes. Good neighborhood pub, walking distance and haven't had any issues with the service so far.
