Nice beach for volleyball, but not quite for swimming. The water is often dirty plus there are a lot of lifeguards.
the beach is a postcard of Chicago downtown. looks good on a picture and is good for nothing else. it is overcrowded and plain dangerous to be around on a nice day. Picture this: big crowds of bikers, rollerbladers, joggers, lovers, teenagers with awakening puberty and dumb parents with flocks of unattended kids. One big Mess.
